We Are Focused on Raising the Information Security Levels of Organizations

How Was the Year 2022 for Kafein Technology?

For Kafein, 2022 was a year in which the company made investments in new technology areas, drawing strength from its team. Since going public, the company has maintained steady growth, finishing the year with a 47.7% increase in its revenue. In December 2022, Kafein was listed among the top 50 fastest-growing technology companies in Turkey.

Kafein established the All-in Cyber cybersecurity solutions department, which integrates human, processes, and technology to combat cyberattacks and raise information security levels. The department, which has now grown to 17 people, has gained 18 new business partners and generated 19 million TL in revenue. During this period, the company served more than 30 new clients in various sectors such as banking, finance, automotive, retail, manufacturing, and energy.

Can You Share More Information About the Focus of Your R&D and Innovations in the Company?

In 2022, Kafein continued 28 ongoing R&D projects and exceeded an R&D budget of 17.3 million TL. The company plans to increase this budget in 2023. One of the R&D projects, the "Parkinson Care" application, is currently undergoing the patent application process. This project, which is a mobile platform supported by data mining, image processing, and artificial intelligence, will play a crucial role in monitoring the treatment process of Parkinson's disease, which affects an increasing number of people.

Additionally, Kafein’s "Test Data Management" (TDM) product, developed recently, has been included in the global product catalog of Micro Focus, a global provider. TDM generated 1.3 million TL in revenue after starting to generate income for the first time. This success is a significant strategic step in the first phase of the target market.

In 2022, the company made an R&D expenditure of 17,975,769 TL in total and was included in the "R&D 250" list, prepared by Turkishtime, based on data from 2021. Kafein is ready to be listed again among the top companies with the highest R&D expenditures in Turkey in 2023.

Can You Tell Us About Your Core Business Areas and Goals?

Kafein Technology partners with various international software and technology companies for licensing sales in Turkey. End-to-end solutions within the scope of KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law) and RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solutions have been areas of steady growth and revenue increase for the company since 2017. This year, the company has also added Cybersecurity to its service portfolio. Through its subsidiaries and the All-in Cyber brand, Kafein has increased the diversity of its services.

The long-term goals of the Cybersecurity department include providing cybersecurity services in Turkish-speaking countries, particularly Azerbaijan, producing local and national cybersecurity products, establishing an academy to train talented youth and deploy them at customer locations, and becoming one of the authorized Cybersecurity Integrators in Turkey. Currently, Kafein is collaborating with 18 international business partners in areas such as RPA, KVKK, Data Integration and Management, and Data Storage. The company aims to continue growing in collaboration with global partners and expanding its operations.
