KAFEIN TECHNOLOGY provides real-time risk analyses of databases and their users with its Data Touch solution developed in the field of cybersecurity.

How has Kafein Technology’s R&D work progressed over the past two years?

As Kafein Teknoloji, we have embarked on a rapid restructuring and development process over the past two years, particularly in the areas of data security and cybersecurity. In these fields, we are developing easily usable, effective, and up-to-date solutions that optimize artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to meet corporate needs. Additionally, we aim to provide modern, value-adding, and solution-oriented products that align with corporate business processes both in Turkey and internationally.

What solutions do you offer for the needs in software and technology management?

We develop solutions that comply with both local and international standards such as ISO, KVKK, and GDPR to address our clients' data security and compliance needs. Our products include Data Focus, which is designed for data governance, Data Touch, which focuses on data security and management, and TDM (Test Data Management), developed to meet the needs of test data generation.

What solutions do you offer in data analysis, cybersecurity, and mobile applications?

In the field of cybersecurity, our Data Touch solution provides real-time risk analysis for databases and users. It also detects unusual database activities using artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. Furthermore, with its external integration capabilities, it identifies unnoticed databases on the network, helping to take preventive measures against potential data leaks. Data Focus enables the scanning and cataloging of database assets while tracking periodic changes. This allows for early detection of potential risks such as unauthorized data deletion or a decrease in sensitivity levels. TDM (Test Data Management) offers a solution to the test data generation challenge faced by organizations in their software development processes. With TDM, synthetic versions of personal data—unreal but realistic versions—are produced, ensuring secure test environments that are fully compliant with laws and standards.

Could you tell us about your innovative products?

One of the key elements that sets us apart in the industry is our young and dynamic engineering team, and we are proud of this team. We are conducting intensive work on the integration of artificial intelligence into business processes. One of the notable projects developed by our company, in collaboration with our consortium partners both domestically and internationally, is the “5G4P Health Artificial Intelligence and 5G-Supported Personalized Digital Health Passport”. This project has been awarded the "Full Label" by Eureka Celtic-Next. In this 16-stakeholder project consortium, Kafein Teknoloji is responsible for developing security architecture, including areas such as the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), the security of edge computing environments, and Zero Trust Architecture. Additionally, our company is continuing its R&D efforts on the “Bio-Curity: E-Health Services with Digital Biomarker Ecosystem” project, which focuses on e-health technologies.

How are you preparing for R&D investments for the upcoming period?

In the upcoming period, we plan to focus our R&D investments on developing innovative solutions in the fields of data governance and database security. We aim to enhance our clients' data security to the highest level through innovative applications such as AI-powered security solutions and automated data management tools. By designing our R&D processes to align with industry needs and the latest technological advancements, we will continue to provide secure and efficient data management solutions. Since 2022, we have allocated an average annual R&D budget of 56.6 million TL, and our R&D investments will continue to increase each year.
