Kafein Technology is shaping the future of its employer brand through a holistic development journey offered to young talents. “Our priority is to foster a transparent and growth-oriented culture at every level,” says Neval Önen, Deputy General Manager of Corporate Governance and Vice Chair of the Board. She emphasizes that employee experience is at the heart of everything they do.
Over the past year, we have implemented various projects encompassing both internal and external communication to strengthen our employer brand. One of the most significant steps we took in this process was restructuring and increasing the visibility of our Kafein Academy program. Through this program, we aimed to offer young talents a holistic experience that not only includes recruitment, but also supports their adaptation, development, and career journey.
We supported our newly graduated employees not only with technical and personal development trainings but also through mentor pairings. This approach helped them adapt to our corporate culture more quickly. By the end of the program, we achieved high participation and satisfaction rates; many participants joined our teams on a permanent basis after completing the program.
Another important step we took for young talents was restructuring our internship program. Previously held only during the summer, our program is now conducted in two separate phases—winter and summer. This allows us to offer internship opportunities to a greater number of students while also strengthening Kafein Technology’s employer brand awareness among young talents.
STRONG EMPLOYER BRAND
In line with these efforts, we increased our participation in university events. For our 2025 plans, we have placed significant emphasis on such activities aimed at reaching young talents.
Another step that strengthened our employer brand perception was making the K-Stars recognition system more visible. Through this system, where we regularly acknowledge our employees' achievements, we observed a significant increase in the rate of appreciation mentioned in feedback.
In line with our focus on enhancing the employee experience, we have increased the number of internal corporate events. We continue to support employee engagement through new and unique event content. Additionally, to strengthen internal communication, we launched a quarterly e-newsletter through which we regularly share updates from different departments with our employees.
On the social media front, we focused our content strategy on reaching a wider audience to strengthen our employer brand. Corporate event content shared especially on LinkedIn and Instagram received high engagement. Building on this success, we plan to increase both content that reflects our corporate culture and career-focused posts on the Kafein Career Instagram account.
TALENT MANAGEMENT STRATEGY
OPEN COMMUNICATION: First and foremost, we place great importance on a culture of open communication and a value-driven work environment. We care not only about candidates fitting the position but also about their alignment with the corporate culture.
DEVELOPMENT POTENTIAL: During the talent acquisition process, we focus not only on current competencies but also on development potential. We strive to reach young talents through university collaborations and career platforms, while highlighting our internal communication opportunities. In line with this, our Kafein Academy program provides new graduates with technical and personal development training as well as mentorship support, aiming to help them start their professional careers stronger.
SUPPORTING: We have built a development-centered structure to retain our employees. Through mentorship, online training platforms, internal rotation, and career development opportunities, we support the long-term growth of our team members. At the same time, we are committed to fostering a strong culture of feedback and recognition.
K-STARS PROGRAM: Through this program, we make our employees' contributions visible and regularly reward them. In doing so, we boost motivation and create a recognition system that sustains ongoing success.
FLEXIBILITY: We continuously update our practices to create a more flexible and balanced work environment. In addition to our hybrid model with one day per week in the office, we offer the option to work remotely for 21 days during the summer months.

CORPORATE CULTURE IS IMPORTANT
Today, we understand that employees are more than just their job descriptions; they play a vital role in shaping corporate culture with their ideas, experiences, and emotions. With this awareness, we have made listening to our employees and involving them in decision-making processes a strategic priority.
To this end, we have established both regular and real-time feedback mechanisms. Each year, we monitor overall trends through our “Employee Satisfaction and Engagement Survey.” Additionally, our HR team holds regular one-on-one meetings with employees. Particularly with new hires, the meetings conducted during their second and sixth months help us support their adaptation process and closely track their initial impressions and needs.
In addition, we conduct regular one-on-one meetings with all employees on their work anniversary. This allows us to measure their satisfaction levels and address any requests they may have by providing timely solutions.
Our internal communication platform, Kafein Portal, hosts the “I Have an Idea” initiative, providing employees with an interactive channel to directly share their ideas and suggestions with HR. We carefully review all submissions and implement those that are feasible as quickly as possible.

Enhancing the employee experience with digitalization and AI-powered tools is one of our organization's top priorities. In this regard, we have implemented various digital solutions to both accelerate operational processes and provide our employees with a more flexible and user-friendly experience.
Thanks to our Kafein Portal application, we have transferred many processes to a digital platform. From leave requests to performance evaluations, and from purchasing to administrative processes, many HR and support functions can be easily carried out and tracked by our employees with just one click.
On the development side, we offer our employees a comprehensive training infrastructure where they can improve their technical and personal skills. On our online training platform, they can access content on a wide range of topics anytime, from leadership to data analysis, and from communication skills to software development. Additionally, by considering employee requests, we organize both corporate and one-on-one training programs.
We regularly measure all these processes through both user feedback and participation data, continuously improving them according to the needs. Because we believe that the true power of digital transformation lies not just in technology itself, but in the employees who use this technology meaningfully.
